Hi I’m Dianna Watkins. I’ve been metal detecting since 2017 when my husband, son and I first moved to Florida. I’ve been a member of a few metal detecting clubs and served as a president of a club for 4 years. I also hosted a monthly hunt for 6 years as a free event for local detectorists before moving to Sarasota in 2025 for my husband’s work. Metal detecting has enabled me to help so many, while making lifelong friends along the way.

Throughout the years I’ve found rings, hearing aids, watches, headphones, glasses, necklaces, keys, religious pendants and even medical devices. To me one of the biggest joys of detecting is being able to return a lost item.
